The project proposes to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement on SR 49 by cold-planing 0.25 feet of pavement and repaving it with 0.25 feet of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (Gap Graded). Additional work includes improving the existing drainage system, upgrading existing curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, modifying traffic signals, constructing a maintenance vehicle pullout (MVP), and updating signage and striping
