Document Description
American Dark Fiber, in coordination with the California Department of Technology, proposes installation of approximately 35 linear feet of new underground fiber optic infrastructure using 4-inch high-density polyethylene conduit with fiber optic cable within Caltrans right-of-way along State Route 17 in the City of Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California, between Post Miles 6.539 and 6.541. Construction activities include open trenching and installation of associated conduit and fiber optic facilities. All trenching will be conducted in accordance with the traffic control plan, and open trenches will be filled or covered during non-working hours. All work will occur within existing roadway rights-of-way and previously disturbed transportation corridors. No expansion beyond existing rights-of-way is proposed.
