The applicant, The Towers, LLC, is proposing to build a Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) consisting of a 120-foot-tall monopole tower with related equipment within a 50-foot by 50-foot leased and fenced area. According to the applicant, the proposed WCF will improve Verizon's SG and 4G L TE coverage in Calipatria, particularly along Highway 111. An IID transformer will be installed adjacent to the lease area, and water and sewer services are not required.
