Document Description
This planning project will include up to three monitoring wells (pilot wells) on properties being considered as potential locations for future groundwater production wells and treatment facilities. The monitoring wells (flow rate not greater than 250gpm) will be used to evaluate groundwater quality, aquifer characteristics, sustainable yield, and suitability for future water supply development associated with the District’s Emerging Contaminants compliance efforts. Activities associated with the monitoring wells will include site access preparation, minor grading as necessary to provide safe drilling access, excavation associated with drilling operations, well drilling and development, installation of temporary testing equipment, soil stockpiling, and restoration of disturbed areas following completion of the work.
