Document Description
The Water Treatment Plant No.2 is an existing ACWD owned drinking water production facility that treats surface water from the State Water Project. The existing filter media in Filter 1, 2 and 3 has been in use at the Water Treatment Plant No.2 (WTP2) since 2011. This project will include the removal and legally disposal of the current filter media as they have deteriorated to a depth that requires replacement to continue to be reliably used for treating drinking water. This project will also include the installation of new filter media and the in-kind replacement of components and sealants in the filters to restore and maintain performance at WTP2.
