Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes replacing two culverts on State Route (SR-) 116 in Sonoma County near Sebastopol, one at Gilchrist Road (PM 32.33) and one 0.1 mile east of Lone Pine Road (PM 30.41). At Gilchrist Road, the existing drainage system will be removed and replaced with a new drainage inlet (DI), cross culvert, and flared end section at the outlet. The existing 12” corrugated metal pipe (CMP) will be replaced with an 18” corrugated steel pipe (CSP). The 12” culvert located 0.1 mile east of Lone Pine Road will be replaced with a new 12” culvert. Construction equipment will include, but not be limited to, asphalt concrete (AC) trucks, grinders, loaders, pavers, and rollers. One-way traffic control will be implemented during construction.
