Document Description
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power plans to install three vaults and approximately 2,000 feet of underground conduit along starting on Glendale Blvd between Effie Street and Berkeley Ave going south to Berkeley Ave, continuing southeast along Berkeley Ave to Lake Shore Ave, and then continuing northeast along Lake Shore Ave, ending at 1891 Effie Street in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA as part of 34.5 kilovolt (kV) line extension work to support a new customer. The vaults include one 9 foot 7 inch by 17 foot 7 inch vault on Glendale Blvd and two 8 foot by 22 foot vaults on Lake Shore Ave. LADWP will restore the pavement according to the Typical Cross Section Trench Detail as indicated in the Caltrans R/W encroachment permit.

Section 15303(d) includes water main, sewage, electrical, gas, and other utility extensions, including street improvements, of reasonable length to serve such construction
