Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install an electric vehicle charger at the San Juan Bautista State Historic Park, Gavilan Sector Office to provide charging for electric State Parks vehicles and to improve charging abilities for park staff. Utilizing existing electrical pull boxes and underground conduit leading from the Wood Shop to the Grainery Building a contractor will:
Install an approved exterior rated 10-inch x 10-inch NEMA 6 pull box to replace the existing LB outlet body; Install a ground level ¾ inch exterior conduit adjacent to the outside of the building to the new pedestal location at the building's rear; Install a new 6-inch x 6-inch exterior pull box and transition to non-metallic liquid-tite conduit for the final connection to the charging pedestal; Drill four (4) anchor holes, approx. ½ inch dia. x 6-inch deep in the existing concrete driveway; and Bolt and secure the electric vehicle charge pedestal.
