Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a small outdoor commercial cannabis license.
Project Activities: The Project will consist of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of outdoor mature cannabis canopy cultivation, 720 sf of immature canopy, and 1,965 sf of associated support buildings. The total existing disturbed area amounts to 24,046 sf within approximately 31,861 sf (0.73-acres) Project area zoned for Agricultural 10-acre minimum. Water for the Project would be provided from an on-site well. Water storage includes five 250-gallon, one 500-gallon, one 2,500-gallon, and one 3,000-gallon water tank. A permitted septic system located on APN 019-750-07-00 would serve the Project’s domestic wastewater needs. Power for the Project site is provided through an existing connection to Trinity Public Utility District’s grid, which also powers the pump through which water is pumped to the storage tanks from the on-site well. Access to the Project site would be via a private road which stems southwest off Peanut Mill Camp Road. The Project is consistent with the Trinity County Cannabis Program.

The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
