Document Description
The City of Pleasanton proposes to reconstruct West Las Positas Blvd to provide multimodal facilities that improve safety and comfort along the corridor. These improvements include: Replacement of the existing roadway pavement, reducing the existing capacity from a 6-lane section to a 4-lane section for the expansion of pedestrian and bicycle facilities on both sides of the roadway, improvement of roadway medians, the installation of landscaped buffers with bioretention features, and the implementation of intersection safety improvements including protected intersections to shorten crossing distances, high visibility crosswalk treatments, and modification of curb ramps to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disability Act.
