Document Description
The proposed project involves the construction of a permanent replacement bridge to restore vehicular access to the Cecchetti Road crossing over Arroyo Grande Creek. The project includes restoring the crossing with a new open-bottom. single-span concrete bridge and reconstructing the adjacent roadway approaches. The project includes removal of the remaining portion of concrete roadway, installation of the new bridge structure, and raising the roadway profile to reduce the frequency of overtopping during future storm events. Associated improvements would include drainage and erosion control measures to enhance the crossing's resilience to hydraulic and geotechnical hazards. These upgrades are intended to improve roadway safety, reduce maintenance needs. support fish passage. and enhance the environmental performance of the crossing.
