Site Development Permit & Contract Award for abandonment of an existing 16,910 linear foot (LF) (3.2 mile) segment of 36-inch and 40-inch steel transmission main and installation of a new 22,401 LF (4.2 mile) 48-inch Cement Mortar Lined and Tape Coated (CML&TC) transmission main and appurtenances. The project would also include the new installation of approximately 1,041 LF (0.20 miles) of parallel 8-inch PVC distribution pipe by The Hill Road in San Diego County to provide service to 17 private residences. The project would also remove and backfill existing structures abandoned by the Bonita Pipeline. The project is located entirely outside the City of San Diego limits within unincorporated areas of San Diego County and within the City of Chula Vista and is generally located along portions of Bonita Road, Terra Nova Dr, East H Street, and Paseo Ladera, extending north to south from Sweetwater Road in San Diego County to Telegraph Canyon Road in the City of Chula Vista. Replumb agreements and real estate actions such as access agreements and easement vacations and acquisition would be required.
