Reasons for Exemption
Class 1 categorical exemptions apply to projects that involve minor alterations to existing public facilities where there is little or no expansion of the existing use. The installation of these solar facilities is merely a minor modification that has no impact on the use of these existing City facilities. The proposed project meets the criteria noted above. There is no substantial evidence in the record that any of the exceptions to these Categorical Exemptions, set forth in CEQA Guidelines, Section 15300.2 apply to this project. Therefore, no adverse environmental impacts will occurs as a result of the proposed project.
