Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace deteriorated utility pole #4446209E and install 1 anchor with 3 attached down guys on Peck Road at Interstate 10 at postmile (PM) 29.44, in the City of El Monte, County of Los Angeles. Temporary CHP-led traffic breaks on the 10 FWY are required while overhead wires are moved, and work will be conducted at night. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 150 inches, an average width of 18 inches, and a maximum length of 1.50 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
