Document Description
California Water Service (CWS) is proposing to drill a well at a property located on the southeast corner of Feather River Boulevard & Bird Street (APN: 012-111-001 ). The proposed well is to replace the existing well leased to CWS by the Union Pacific Railroad (located in the southern part of the distribution system, near 4690 Baggett Marysville Road). The approximately 9,500 square foot site is currently an empty lot, zoned as Intensive Commercial (C-2). A Utility building or substation is a permitted use in the C-2 zoning district. The well will likely need PFOS treatment, but that is subject to confirmation of the water quality of a test well.
