Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) crew to remove and replace pole 1871419E and access pole 1871418E to replace with deep ground rod and down guy, and to replace overhead wire crossing the road at the same hole set on State Route (SR)14 at post mile R63.17 in the City of Palmdale, County of Los Angeles. All work is within Caltrans right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
