Document Description
The proposed project consists of the rehabilitation of an existing City Landmark building, including seismic and accessibility upgrades. Seismic improvements include masonry wall repointing, installation of shotcrete at basement walls, chimney bracing, shear wall installation, and associated plaster repair and repainting in kind. Accessibility improvements include installation of a wheelchair lift on the south elevation and construction of an ADA-compliant ramp to the main entrance. The project also includes installation of a new fire espape ladder at the third floor to improve life-safety accesses and egress.
