Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to remove and replace two poles: 951518E (LA 50.104) & 951519E (LA 50.161), and to replace the hard-set south access pole 951517E, to replace the down guy and anchor, and to replace 2406 feet of overhead wire. The project is all within Caltrans right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
