Document Description
Placer County Water Agency proposes a temporary one-year transfer of 20,000 acre-feet of surplus water to Westlands Water District for the remainder of 2026. The transfer water will be made through releases of water from its Middle Fork Project reservoirs. No new infrastructure will be constructed. Water transferred will be used for agricultural purposes, augmenting Westlands Water District's low allocation from the Central Valley Project water supply contract.
