CCR Title 14 15304(i) Minor Alterations to Land
Reasons for Exemption
The project is categorically exempt under CEQA Guidelines Section 15304, Class 4, Minor Alterations to Land, because it consists of minor alterations to vegetation for the purpose of hazardous fuels reduction, forest health improvement, and wildfire resilience. The project would not involve new development or a change in land use. Work would be implemented using hand crews and/or low-ground-pressure ground-based equipment with resource protection measures to minimize soil disturbance, erosion, sedimentation, and impacts to residual vegetation.
