Document Description
California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) proposes the installation of game cameras along State Routes (SR) 76 (PM 52.3), 78 (PM 53.04), and 79 (PMs 27.4, 39.90, 41.957, 49.9) in San Diego County. Specifically, the proposed project aims to collect systematic game camera data along known and potential wildlife connectivity barriers where high rates of wildlife-vehicle collisions occur. The work would allow CDFW and Caltrans to evaluate barrier effects on wildlife, identify mitigation opportunities, and increase road user safety.
