Document Description
This project will construct a new stormwater detention basin on an undeveloped parcel adjacent to St. Luke's Lutheran Church. The Stormwater detention basin will 15'e unlined and approximately 13 feet deep with 3: 1 side slopes, a concrete access ramp, and a concrete low-flow swale. The top of the basin will be setback at least five feet from adjacent property fences. Excess stormwater will be diverted into and out of the basin through a new 36-ince conveyance pipe connected to a new 7-foot by 10-foot vault in Center Parkway. The vault will include an adjustable weir that diverts storm water into the basin system when water levels in the existing system reach a critical height. A one-way flap gate will be included to allow storm water to flow back
into the existing system once a storm has passed. Site improvements will include six-foot-tall perimeter fencing around the basin, a wrought iron fence at the property entrance with a rolling gate and asphalt driveway, and a gravel access road from the entrance to the perimeter basin fencing and second gate.
