Document Description
The project consists of installing and operating a cellular-based Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system at existing water meter locations. The new meters feature radio equipment and dataloggers, allowing the meters to be read remotely. Existing water meter covers will be replaced to accommodate the new meter's radio equipment. The proposed AMI system will improve meter reading efficiency, enhance leak detection capabilities, provide more timely usage information to customers, reduce manual field activities, and support long-term water management objectives.
