Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-57958-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Howard Dashiell, representing the Mendocino County Department of Transportation.
The Project is limited to one (1) encroachment to remove and replace the existing culvert and inlet headwall with a 36” diameter HDPE pipe and pre-cast concrete headwall. A pipe downspout and rock energy dissipator will be installed at the culvert outlet to armor and stabilize the eroded road embankment. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, backfilling and compaction of fill, and repaving
Buckeye Lane above the crossing.

The project replaces an existing culvert with an appropriately sized culvert and will be installed to current standards. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The structures have the same use and capacity.
