The existing Magnolia Storm Drain outlets into the Cypress Channel, directly south of the intersection of Riverside Dr and Cypress Ave. and follows the similar alignment as described in the Project Location. This project proposes removal of the existing 66" and 72" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP} and replacement with reinforced concrete box (RCB) of varying size. The proposed storm drain sizes will include 12'x7', 8'x8', 10'x10', 10'x9', and 10'x8' RCB. The proposed storm drain will be sized to safely convey the 100-year storm flowrate from the surrounding residential and commercial developments into Cypress Channel to prevent flooding impacts in the ultimate condition. The project includes installation of RCB, manholes, junction structures, channel improvements, utility relocations, roadway reconstruction and removal of the existing RCP.
