Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-61632-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Buffalo Wahoo, LLC. The project is limited to the modification of the existing private pier. The steel subframe will be expanded to support a 6-foot-wide approach walk to the pier head, which will be reconfigured to measure 45 feet in length by 10 feet in width. Modification of the pier head will require the removal of three (3) existing piles located on the southern side of the pier head and the driving of five (5) new piles measuring 10-¾ inches in diameter to support the modified design. New piles will result in 3.15 square feet of lakebed disturbance. An existing fixed catwalk and two (2) existing 6,000 lb. boat lifts will be removed and replaced by one 12,000 lb. boat lift and an adjustable 30-foot catwalk and ramp. A new 12,000 lb. boatlift to be installed at the southern side of the modified pierhead and will be supported by two (2) 6” X 9” steel beams that will be driven into the lakebed, resulting in a total of 0.75 square feet of lakebed disturbance.
