Document Description
The Applicant is proposing to develop the proposed project in the City of San Mateo. The project site is approximately 1.37 acres and developed with three single-story buildings totaling approximately 25,186 square feet. The existing buildings are either vacant or occupied by various automobile repair businesses. The Applicant is proposing to retain and rehabilitate the three existing buildings for operation of a self-storage facility. Additionally, the proposed project would construct a new two-story storage building of approximately 51,873 square feet, including a basement level. The four storage buildings would total approximately 76,767 square feet and provide 118 wine storage units, 591 storage units, 717 storage lockers, and approximately 2,028 square feet of office space. The proposed project would also construct a surface parking lot with 20 spaces, on and offsite utility connections, landscaping, and frontage improvements.
