Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Class 1 15301
Reasons for Exemption
The project would construct approximately 1,152 linear feet of new fencing to replace a damaged fence. Approximately 200 to 300 feet of the existing fencing would remain in place. The new fence would be a negligible expansion of use. The project would construct new fencing with considerably less than a 2,500 square foot footprint and leave the existing fence in place to avoid damage to riparian vegetation. Therefore, the Class 1 exemption is applicable to the project.
