Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes replacing a culvert system at post mile (PM) 31.97 on Interstate (I-) 580 in Alameda County. There is currently a temporary steel plate covering the failed drainage inlet and down drain. The project will involve grading the roadway to access the failed culvert, replacing the culvert, drainage inlet, and down drain, and then backfilling and repaving the roadway. Clearing and grubbing of vegetation may be required. Construction equipment may include, but not be limited to, asphalt concrete (AC) trucks, grinders, loaders, pavers, and rollers.
