Document Description
The City of Ukiah is applying for funds as a member of the Ukiah Valley Water Authority for a planning grant to consolidate several water service providers into a single, regional water provider. UVWA is a five-member JPA that was created as transitional step towards consolidation. The City of Ukiah is a full-service city that is located in the center of the combined service area. The intention of the proposal is to create a single entity that would extend from the southern end of the Ukiah Valley to the northern end of Redwood Valley.
This project includes a basis of design report, alternatives analysis, and detail design. The project will consolidate multiple agencies into a single water system to efficiently convey water to users in the area.
