Document Description
Pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1652, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved the Windy Springs Meadow Restoration Project as submitted by Jon Christensen. The three-acre Project will address meadow degradation that is largely attributed to anthropogenic modifications. Project activities include but are not limited to the removal of artificial containment systems around two springheads, removal and/or lowering of earthen berms, and the installation of low-tech process-based treatments. The Project is intended to restore hydrologic function and habitat quality within the 46-acre Windy Springs Meadow.
