Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-58859-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Hans Ley.
The Project is limited to two encroachments. One proposed encroachment is to upgrade an existing culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with a new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
The second proposed encroachment is to 1) remove a pumping shed and adjacent water tank from a stream channel and 2) restore the stream channel to match the upstream and downstream conditions as best as possible. Work for this encroachment will include manual removal of water tank, deconstruction of the shed, removal of the shed, and use of hand tools to restore the stream channel.
