Document Description
The project consists of entering into the third lease amendment with Carlton Oaks Plaza LP to extend the existing lease term to allow for continued use of approximately 9,300 square feet of existing retail space for the Santee County Library. No improvements or expansion of the library space are proposed. The updated lease term will be retroactive to June 1, 2026 and will extend the lease term to May 31, 2029, and will include one option to extend for an additional two years.

The project will not impact environmental resources of hazardous or critical concern that are designated, precisely mapped and officially adopted by government agencies; does not contribute to cumulative environmental impact; will not have a significant impact on the environment due to unusual circumstances; does not damage scenic resources within a designated state scenic highway; and is not on the list of Hazardous Waste and Substance Sites pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code.
