Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is a condition compliance review for the operation of Tam's Burger No. 6 restaurant that constituted a public nuisance under Case No. DIR-2012-1288-RV-PA2 and on June 23, 2021 the Zoning Administrator imposed twenty-three conditions pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 12.27.1 in order to. mitigate adverse impacts caused by the operations of the subject restaurant. Allegations and complaints of nuisance activities included criminal homicides, pimping-prostitution, narcotics use-sales, loitering, transients and intoxicated groups, drinking in public, graffiti and associated trash and debris that encourage loitering. Per Condition No. 1 of the Modified Conditions, the applicant is required to file a Plan Approval application by July 8, 2022.
