Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District's (EMWD) Perris Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (PVRWRF) provides the Perris Valley region with wastewater treatment services. As a result of rehabilitation PVRWRF is currently undergoing, the proposed project would aid in removing any capacity constraints that the RWRF may experience as shutdowns are implemented throughout the facility. The proposed project would install temporary hydrocyclone skids and associated equipment to improve activated sludge settleability through densified activated sludge (DAS). The purpose of the proposed project would be to increase the overall operational efficiency of the secondary treatment system at the PVFRF and free up capacity that would be limited by the implementation of the rehabilitation projects. Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers.
