The applicant, Southern California Edison, under Encroachment Permit 12-24-6-US-0738, Southern California Edison proposes the following work within the Caltrans Right-of-Way: replace a utility pole (782083H) on State Route 57 (PM 16.4). The replacement pole will be installed and the existing Guy Anchor (GA) will be reused at the existing location in the sidewalk, at the southwest corner of Orangethorpe Avenue and SR-57 Northbound Off-Ramp at postmile (PM) 16.399. The proposed pole location is less than 52 feet (ft) away from the edge of traveled way (ETW) within the State right-of-way (ROW). No staging areas, or construction easements have been identified. The total Disturbed Soil Area is unknown. The work proposed by the applicant will occur within Caltrans Right of way. No new right of way is required. The public benefits
