Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace two transmission poles along State Route(SR) 14 at postmile R70, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities along Ave H in the City of Lancaster, County of Los Angeles. SCE to replace wood pole 1832996E with 75-foot tubular steel pole 11 feet west of existing location. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 180 inches, an average width of 78 inches, and a maximum length of 6.50 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
