Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Biscuit Filmworks, which proposes filming a TV commercial at the Caltrans Maintenance Equipment Training Center (META Yard), located at 5200 W. Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, under Interstate 105 at Post Mile 2.01. This production involves car-to-car driving shots utilizing a camera arm car, as well as cameras mounted on sticks (tripods) and camera on a dolly to capture moving and stationary footage. The permit location will accommodate all filming and support activities such as basecamp, catering, crew parking and stationing of approximately 40 crew vehicles including: 10-ton trucks, cube trucks, vans, car hauler, motorhome, tow plant generator and picture cars. No ground disturbance will be necessary. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
