Document Description
Pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1652, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved the Bi-State Sagebrush Enhancement Project submitted by Richard Kyle Faig, a representative of US Fish and Wildlife Service.
The project will implement low-tech, process-based restoration actions, including
constructing beaver dam analogs, post-assisted log structures, and Zuni bowl/Zeedyk
structures; remove encroaching pinyon-juniper woodlands; reconstruct an old diversion structure and associated irrigation ditch to irrigate a disconnected floodplain meadow; and convert existing fencing to wildlife-friendly designs. The project is expected to have approximately 4.09 acres of disturbance.
