Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Director’s Order project to replace a culvert at post mile 11.38 on State Route (SR) 99 in Stanislaus County. Two sink holes were discovered on the single lane northbound onramp and further investigation revealed that the drainage system was compromised. The scope of work includes excavation, culvert replacement, sinkhole stabilization and pavement repair. The purpose of this project is to replace the damaged and failing culvert system. The project is needed to prevent the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
