The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Cannabis License submitted on 11/18/2025, by Derrick White. Derrick White applied for one Cannabis Retail License in an indoor building for the sale of cannabis goods.
The Project consists of an existing facility for the operation of a cannabis retail license within a 4,134 sq ft building. The Project does not involve modifications or demolition. The operation will utilize electricity from the grid and water from a retail water supplier.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor
alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. The project site
does not propose any expansion and was formerly used for agricultural use. The Project site is developed due to existing cannabis cultivation operations; no native vegetation and environmentally sensitive habitats are present on-site.
