Document Description
The Earlimart Sheriff Substation Paving Project will consist of repaving existing parking areas, adding drought tolerant landscaping, and on-site storm water retention basins. The existing parking area is deteriorated and in need of repaving. The repaving will include the removal of the existing deteriorated oiled sand/asphalt material. New aggregate base will be added to improve the long-term durability of the parking areas. Once the existing paving demolition/removal is complete the new asphalt concrete paving will be installed. Grading will be moderately adjusted to allow for the onsite storm water retention. The site has existing ADA parking and path of travel that has previously been updated and will not be disturbed. Beneficiaries of this Project are users of this parking lot, including law enforcement personnel and the public.
