Reasons for Exemption
The project seeks to replace material displaced at several bridge locations during the 2023 high flows consisting of the replacement of the riprap material and/or existing concrete lining. Scour to the bridge locations was the result of disaster CA 23-3 in a disaster stricken area in which a state of emergency was proclaimed by the Governor pursuant to the California Emergency Services Act, commencing with Section 8550 of the Government Code. The project will reconstruct the scour areas back to pre-disaster conditions.
