The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes removing and installing modular trailers at the Hercules Maintenance Station off of State Route (SR-) 4 at post mile (PM) 1.00 in Contra Costa County. Construction equipment to be used includes trucks, safety gear, small tools (plasma cutter, saws, pipe wrenches, electrical tools), hydraulic jacks, cranes, forklifts, dollies, and tow trucks. All work will remain within Caltrans right of way on existing paved surfaces.
