This project will install approximately 5 acres of wildlife habitat. Habitat enhancement will include flowering native plant vegetation to benefit native pollinator species, emphasizing habitat for the monarch butterfly and certain bumble bee species. ARCD will provide technical assistance and plant, irrigation, and fencing material resources to the landowner for project implementation. ARCD and the landowner will share responsibilities for habitat installation and maintenance.
