Document Description
The West Grand Avenue Corridor Improvements project will provide safe and accessible opportunities to walk, bike, roll, and take transit on West Grand Avenue to connect residents to jobs, services, and regional transportation connections. The project will implement pedestrian safety improvements including marked crosswalks, bulb outs, and updated curb ramps. The project will also install a protected bike facility to replace the existing bike lane. In addition, this project will improve access to transit and will implement improvements to improve bus reliability, including bus boarding islands and exploring the feasibility of adding transit signal priority and bus only lanes in both directions.
