Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to repair the deck and spalled concrete of Bridge No. 29-0013R over Stanislaus River in Stanislaus County at Post mile (PM) R 24.71. The scope of work includes full bridge deck repair on a portion of the bridge, replacement of damaged concrete and reinforcing bars, backfill with rapid setting concrete, removal and replacement of traffic striping and construction of a catchment falsework under the bridge. All work is anticipated to occur inside Caltrans Right of Way (ROW). The purpose of this project is to address the failed concrete deck. The project is needed to prevent the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
