Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for MCI Metro Access Transmission Services LLC to place new conduit and fiberoptic cable including 91 feet of directional bore, 3 feet of dirt trench, 58 feet of asphalt trench, 17 feet of concrete trench, install 1 new (24 inch by 36 inch) vault, and perform associated temporary traffic control activities, within the state right of way, on State Route (SR) 1 (Lincoln Blvd.) at Venezia Ave. at postmile (PM) 32.35; in the city/County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 169 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
