Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace one deteriorated transmission pole, 2280109E, on State Route 39 (SR-39), a principal arterial in the City of La Mirada, County of Los Angeles, also known as Beach Boulevard. The new pole will be installed adjacent to its existing location along SR-39 in the northbound direction, at postmile (PM) D17.5, 13 feet (ft) from the edge of the traveled way. SCE will also perform temporary traffic control activities within Caltrans right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches, an average width of 36 inches, and a maximum length of 3 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
