Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for American Dark Fiber LLC, to place temporary traffic control devices and signage, install 92 feet of underground high-density polyethylene (HDD) conduit with 1-4 inch HDPE conduit with fiber optic cable and associated temporary traffic control activities on Caltrans right-of-way at 16th Street at Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1), at postmile (PM) 21.46 in the City of Hermosa Beach, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 92 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
